You came to Istanbul, you want to travel, you searched for places to visit on the internet, you came across many historical places, gardens, parks, but if you do not know which one you should go to first, how to create your route, this article will be for you.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

While you are in Istanbul, there are many places you need to visit and understand the history, in this article, I will create routes that you can visit in a short time without getting lost on the roads and losing time in traffic.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

First of all, the location of the place you will stay is very important. Staying in central locations is one of the most important options for your route. So where are these central locations? Areas such as Emin\u00f6n\u00fc, Ortak\u00f6y, Bebek, Be\u015fikta\u015f, \u00dcsk\u00fcdar are easy both in terms of sea transportation and land transportation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

If we have chosen our <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Hotel<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong> to stay, it is time to create our lists because we only have three days to visit the huge Istanbul. Positioning Istanbul as just a place to visit and see will cause us to make a big mistake for our trip, because Istanbul is a city with many streets to see, ferry trips to do, flavors to try, places to go.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

While we are creating our list, if we look for and find answers to questions such as why I really want to go here and how long I can spend here, our route can be even better. First of all, if you are coming for the first time, the historical peninsula tour is an inevitable option. Let’s think of our hotel as a hotel on the borders of tram, metro, ferry and start drawing our route. First of all, the tram is a great option for us, a little slow compared to other vehicles, but it is a great option for us as it passes through the center of the city.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

1.DAY<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h3>

First day; The first day of our trip will start with the tram, but we should be careful not to coincide the hours when we will use public transportation with the work-in-out hours (8-9.30 in the evening, 17.00-19.00 in the evening). Depending on the location of your hotel, you get off the tram at the ‘laleli-istanbul university’ stop at 9.30 am. Let’s say the journey takes 20 minutes. The reason we got off at this stop is to see the architecture of Istanbul University and to have the opportunity to walk on the streets of Sultanahmet.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

Here are the places you should visit. Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern. All of them are within walking distance of each other and must see areas. Don’t forget to buy Turkish coffee from Kurukahveci Mehmet Efendi in the bazaars, this flavor is not available anywhere else. When your trip is over, you should definitely eat meatballs and piyaz at Sultanahmet K\u00f6ftecisi before you leave Sultanahmet, believe me, even as I write, it hurts my heart. You may have to wait in line for this, but believe me, it’s worth it. Let’s move towards G\u00fclhane Park, which is the park that you will not return without seeing when you come to Sultanahmet. If you want, you can take the tram one stop or walk. G\u00fclhane Park will relax you both with its historical smell and because it is a place where you can calm down in that crowd.Our journey to Sultanahmet, which starts at 9.50, can end at 15.00-15.30 by seeing the places we need to see.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

After your visit to G\u00fclhane Park, let’s get on the tram again and get off at the ‘Sirkeci’ stop this time, the only reason we got off at this stop is to eat sweets at the dessert shop named Haf\u0131z Mustafa. Especially choose the milky desserts suitable for your taste and enjoy the view of Emin\u00f6n\u00fc-Sirkeci with tea. In the meantime, do not forget to rest or look at the photos you took, or even share them on social media.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

You know, we have 3 days, we have to speed up. If we get up from the dessert shop named Haf\u0131z Mustafa around 17.00, our trip can speed up. Next, we have the Emin\u00f6n\u00fc-Karak\u00f6y tour. Emin\u00f6n\u00fc and Karak\u00f6y are really close to each other and are places you must see. You can visit the Spice Bazaar in Emin\u00f6n\u00fc, this is an alternative, but if you don’t want to, I would like to direct you more towards the Galata Bridge.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

You will be in front of this bridge, which you will use while walking from Emin\u00f6n\u00fc to Karak\u00f6y, the view of Galata tower, people fishing on the right and left of the bridge. The view of Istanbul is your first stop from the places that will make you say yes, I am in Istanbul. If you want, you can eat fish and bread, you can wander as you wish. On the way to Karak\u00f6y, I recommend you to try the chocolates, which will be on your right at Mabel Chocolate Shop. When you come to Karak\u00f6y, you will encounter the magic of the street. With a very colorful street in Karak\u00f6y, rows of cafes, hamburgers and desserts may make you think for a long time about which one to sit on, but my suggestion would be Karak\u00f6y K\u00f6\u015fkero\u011flu. There is a dessert part and a food part.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

We wandered around, we were tired, we deserved dinner. Now it’s time to sit down at K\u00f6\u015fkero\u011flu and eat lahmacun, stuffed meatballs, kebab etc. After our meal, let’s take a walk towards the galata tower. I recommend walking because it is really worth seeing. The way to Galata tower is a bit of a hill, but I think it’s worth it. When you come to the Galata tower, you should definitely go to the top. Don’t forget the rumor when you leave “You will marry the first person you go to Galata with.” After the Galata tower, we are very tired, but you should not return to your hotel without seeing the last route, Istiklal Street. You can buy chestnuts while walking on Istiklal street. You can visit the shops, it will be very nice to walk on the street. You can take the tram from Taksim by metro, funicular,and another option is buses,so you can return to your hotel. 2.Day<\/span><\/span><\/h3>

We will start the second day of our tour with routes such as Be\u015fikta\u015f and Ortak\u00f6y. You can reach Be\u015fikta\u015f by bus, tram, minibus from your hotel. My advice is to leave the hotel early in the morning and take the tram to Kabata\u015f station. You can walk to Be\u015fikta\u015f for 15-20 minutes from that stop, but that road is the best way to walk. It even allows you to see the Dolmabah\u00e7e Palace. You should definitely go to Dolmabah\u00e7e Palace, it is very important for you to visit and see it, to get to know our culture. After that, it’s time for breakfast so that we can take you to Be\u015fikta\u015f breakfast street. You will see a lot of breakfast people line by line. You can sit comfortably in one of your heart’s content. The favorite menu of the breakfast people there is the baguette. Various kinds of pastries. Have a nice breakfast, save energy, our day is long.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

After breakfast, you can take a tour in Be\u015fikta\u015f bazaar and make your way towards Y\u0131ld\u0131z park. Y\u0131ld\u0131z Park is a very large and large park. Sit in a gazebo and eat your mussels and then stroll the park. You will be greeted by wonderful bridges and the view will fascinate you.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

After Y\u0131ld\u0131z park, walk back to Be\u015fikta\u015f ferry port and yes here is your first ferry trip. The Be\u015fikta\u015f-Kad\u0131k\u00f6y ferry takes about 20 minutes. While getting on the ferry, don’t forget to buy a bagel and throw it at the seagulls.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

When you come to Kad\u0131k\u00f6y, a huge bazaar will welcome you, and you will look like Be\u015fikta\u015f. One of the stops you should stop by in Kad\u0131k\u00f6y is Kad\u0131k\u00f6y gentlemen and there is a flavor you will fall in love with; cup gray. It consists of croquant and ice cream, you should definitely try it. Then you can visit Kad\u0131k\u00f6y. If you have time and energy, you can see Baghdad street. Caddebostan beach is also among the alternatives to visit, but do not forget that you have to go back to the center of Kad\u0131k\u00f6y to change collars. After your tour is over, return to Be\u015fikta\u015f and take the Ortak\u00f6y bus as soon as you get off the ferry port. The bus will take you to Ortak\u00f6y, a place that makes you say yes to Istanbul for the second time.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Ortak\u00f6y is one of my favorite districts in Istanbul because I am a lover of kumpir, its scenery and the heart of Istanbul.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

3.DAY<\/span><\/span><\/h3>

We came to the last day of our trip. Today I will take you to \u00dcsk\u00fcdar, a place you must see because \u00dcsk\u00fcdar is the 3rd and last one, it will make you say I am in Istanbul. First of all, your first stop will be \u00dcsk\u00fcdar \u00c7engelk\u00f6y. To get here, you need to take the \u00dcsk\u00fcdar ferry from Emin\u00f6n\u00fc-Karak\u00f6y or Be\u015fikta\u015f, and after getting off, you need to go a very short distance by taxi.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

You can choose Historical \u00c7\u0131naralt\u0131 for breakfast in \u00c7engelk\u00f6y, it will not strain your budget and the view is wonderful.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

After a long and nice breakfast, let’s take you to \u00dcsk\u00fcdar Maiden’s Tower and your transportation vehicle should be a taxi at this point. You go to the Maiden’s Tower by boat and it costs around 10-15 liras per person. You should definitely visit the Maiden’s Tower and take a look at its history, and when you come to \u00dcsk\u00fcdar, you can’t do without visiting the streets of Kuzguncuk.
